Current discussion structure
Ideally, finish approaches & methods section by next week to plan discussion section accordingly. It would also be good to aim and talk about your target audience such as age and demographics a little bit. For the discussion section, ideally the material testing should conclude soon in order to move forward with the form & tech For the interactive part, include exploration into sound & light as proof of concept, and also talk a bit about why they behave a certain way, and what kind of characteristics they are trying to convey. After that, would be good to conclude the sections and structure it in a way that would lead to the next part. How would the material and tech explorations inform the final form of the artefact? The ideal goal for now is to finish 2 / 5 artefacts by the dissertation deadline.
In the discussion part, talk about what you learnt from all your explorations and try to think from the readers perspective - what would you find interesting to read about? For example findings, failures, future uses and etc.
Keep in mind for possible user testing, it's would be helpful to first think about: (1) What do you want them to take away from your work, (2) What questions would you ask them, (3) How would you present your work, and (4) Why you are presenting your work a certain way.
